Let the landscape speak for itself
When Antonio (Tony) Mendonca started Flores Landscaping, communicating in English was not easy for him. He immigrated to Toronto from Portugal and had a very limited knowledge of the language. A very creative and social person, Tony felt that landscaping was a way to help communicate and connect with others without having to say a word.
Flores Landscaping started as a tree planting company in 1976 and turned into a lawn and garden maintenance company shortly after. Once Tony's wife Tina joined the company, clientele tripled. However, it was important to both Tony and Tina for the company to remain small enough to ensure a personal touch in every project. This is the same approach to this date.
We are proud to work with local businesses and acquire our landscape supplies and materials within Canada, predominately from Ontario and BC.
